In what has become a springtime tradition, the Easter Bunny paid a visit Thursday afternoon (March 21) to patients and families at St. Tammany Cancer Center – A Campus of Ochsner Medical Center.
Accompanied by his longtime friends at Ruby’s Kids – the Metairie-based nonprofit dedicated to brightening the holidays for children of cancer patients – Mr. Bunny brought with him fun, games, tons of treats and, of course, an opportunity for photos.
Naturally, an egg-cellent time was had by all.
Thanks to everyone who helped make the day a memorable one, including cancer center staff and generous donors to St. Tammany Hospital Foundation. Scroll down for photos of the fun.
The $75 million St. Tammany Cancer Center, located near the intersection of Interstate 12 and Louisiana 21, was built in 2021 as a joint venture between St. Tammany Health System and its partner Ochsner Health to serve as a one-stop shop for local cancer care.
