Help St. Tammany Hospital Foundation kick off the holiday season the right way this #GivingTuesday! #GivingTuesday is a day of giving where communities around the globe have the opportunity to donate to the nonprofit/charity of their choice on the Tuesday following Black Friday. Join us December 3 as we celebrate #GivingTuesday. This year, proceeds from Giving Tuesday will support Lung Cancer Care for patients in our community.
Thanks to a very generous donation from Rich Mauti and the Mauti Cancer Fund, St. Tammany Health System is acquiring a mobile lung screening bus, set to arrive in early 2025!
This bus will give us the capacity to expand on our current screening efforts with the Be Well Bus, offering residents in our community the chance to catch this illness early. According to a recent report from the American Lung Association, Louisiana ranks in the bottom 5 of all states when it comes to both early detection and survivability.
